Deputy Party Chief of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee and Mayor of Qingdao Ren Gang held separate meetings with President of Bosch (China) Investment Ltd. David Xu Daquan and Astrazeneca's Global Senior Vice President and Head of Operations for Asia Pacific Pu Sitong, who were in Qingdao for the 6th Qingdao Multinationals Summit.

In his meeting with Xu Daquan, both sides held in-depth discussions on the development of the new energy vehicle industry, smart home appliance manufacturing, and international logistics cooperation. They agreed to enhance communication and coordination, deepen collaboration in green and low-carbon industries as well as the automotive sector, and work together to advance the implementation of new projects for mutual benefit.

In his meeting with Pu Sitong, both sides shared updates on the development of Qingdao and AstraZeneca, and expressed their intention to build on their strong existing partnership. They committed to leveraging their respective strengths to accelerate the construction of the production and supply base, and to deepen cooperation in the treatment of respiratory and rare diseases, aiming to achieve more concrete and practical outcomes together.
